The Gettup by Justin Martin & Eats Everything is yet another bangin’ house release from the Dirtybird Players crew. Like most of the releases on Dirtybird, this track borders between tech and deep house. It’s got the vibes of a deeper track with that added punch and bass we’ve come to love from Dirtybird. The grinding bass and mini wobbles are also signature of the San Francisco based label. I encourage everyone to check out Justin Martin & Eats Everything’s prior Feather Fight EP. These guys are a dynamite production duo.
When Eats Everything and Justin Martin collaborate, you shut up and listen. Two of the most highly acclaimed producers in the world getting together to make such beautiful music is a rare treat. The Feather Flight EP does not disappoint. The EP seamlessly blends Justin Martin’s bouncy basslines and dreamy melodies with the eclectic stylings of Eats Everything. Both tracks are beautiful contradictions- they are bangin but mellow, upbeat and laid back, trippy and in your face.
The title track of the EP, Feather Flight builds screamingly for the first couple minutes before dropping into bouncy bliss.
Harpy, the second track on the EP, is again an epic build into an almost dub-like groove that you never want to end.
Eats Everything is at it again, this time with a remix of He Not In, from Chicken Lips. It seems like Eats Everything is on one of those streaks where everything he touches turns to gold. This remix is no different.
New remix for you today from UK producer Eats Everything. This song combines elements from so many different genres within the electronic music world and blends them together flawlessly, which is what Eats Everything has become notable for doing. It also doesn’t hurt that he starts with a Justin Martin song. This is a must download.
