Hello again my Homeless friends, and welcome to our new writer Count Van Count. Hope you’ve enjoyed his latest posts. I can’t express how excited we are here at WHYH to add another writer to the mix. I’ve got a great post for you tonight, all songs definitely worth a download.
Trap Music or Trap House, whatever you like to call it, has been dominating the EDM music scene lately. I have to say, Trap really caught my attention. I hadn’t given anything below 128 BPM a listen in quite some time. But as it goes with popular bass music some of it sounds like shit – literally. So, here are my favorite Trap songs I’ve heard in the last few months, cheers.
Lets start things off with legends in the music industry, Chase & Status. I saw these guys at their first performance in the United States do a live set, and they brought more energy to a show than I had ever seen. I love their style, love everything they do. Enjoy this Hip-Hop influenced nasty Trap beat.
I haven’t liked most of what Dillon Francis has done recently, but I have to say, this one is catchy and filthy.
Here are two songs that have been reinvented with Trap beats behind them. The first is Hardwell’s classic Spaceman and the next is Lapdance from N.E.R.D. The re-work of Spaceman is quite possibly my favorite in this list.
To finish things off here is a classic from Feed Me – Pink Lady – reinvented as a Trap anthem and the newest single from Feed Me that I have grown to love, Little Cat Steps. Both incredible tracks.
