It’s safe to say that Mark Knight is easily one of our favorites here at Without House. His funky, tech-house style is top notch and his productions are always of the highest quality. His latest rendition, Your Love, is no different. It’s a new take on Kylie Minogue’s classic Can’t Get You Out of My Head. Mark swaps Kylie with a male voice and deepens the vocal sample greatly, giving it a much darker undertone. The beat is absolutely infectious and really catches your ear from the start. This song is sure to be stuck in your head after only a couple listens. It’s got that fun, bouncy, signature Mark Knight sound. Like his last release Ten with Sander van Doorn and Underworld, this tune is sure to wreck dance floors across the globe. Make sure to grab the full version once it drops on April 22nd.
Anytime I see Mark Knight’s name on anything, I click the download link without thinking. This track did not disappoint. The bassline is bouncy, funky and groovy, complimenting the chilled out vocals from Submotion Orchestra. Check out the remix below and make sure to download it, you’ll love it.
I had never heard of Submotion Orchestra before seeing their name on this remix, and I’m glad I checked them out. They’re a live dubstep act from the UK composed of 7 people. Let’s make one thing clear, I am NOT a fan of any mainstream dubstep, it sucks. But this is different. This is real music, inspired from the birth place of dubstep itself. It has a more progressive feel and is actually interesting, creative and innovative. Check out their soundcloud and hear for yourself!
Mark Knight is one of the most underrated producers out there. He’s been around forever and his “Toolroom Knights” compilations and podcasts are insanely good. I really dig his blend of tech and deep house. Props to Sensation America for booking Mark alongside Fedde Le Grand and Jooris Voorn in what looks to be an amazing lineup.
Alright is a dope song that blends a lot of fun house, techno, funk elements to it. The rhythm of the song just flows and works so well. I love the horn that he tossed in too.
Mark’s remix of the Laidback Luke banger Speak Up can be described in one word…sexy. This deep house jam is perfect for lounging, sipping on drinks, and talking with friends.
The first time I heard Conscindo by Mark Knight and Wolfgang Gartner was during an epic 4 hr. Kaskade set at the infamous Pacha in NYC. I had no idea what the song was at the time. When I discovered who created it the next day, I realized why it was so fucking good.
A Mark Knight post wouldn’t be complete without his most popular and probably best song. His remix of You’ve Got The Love by Florence and The Machine is an absolute party starter. The vocals are obviously amazing, the beat is intoxicating, and you can’t help but dance around with a smile on your face.
